Children will experience what it was like to be a Civil War soldier by being inducted into the army, learning a drill, hand sewing a Civil War haversack to wear and handling several authentic Civil War artifacts. Ages 7 and up. Registration is required at LasdonPark.org. Space is limited. register now
Hike Croton Point Park to visit historical and archaeological sites from the Archaic to the 17th Century. Meet at the RV Park entrance. Three mile hike, some rough terrain. Ages 10 and up, wear sturdy shoes.
