Join us for an evening walk around Merestead to observe bats before they go into hibernation for the winter. The walk will include discussions about bat diversity, habitat and behavior. Participants will also learn how scientists can use acoustic monitoring of echolocation to detect bats. Meet at the carriage house parking area on the south side of 455 Byram Lake Road in Mount Kisco. Program will run in light rain, but worse weather will cancel. Please bring flashlights!
