Learn about Hilltop’s Native Plants Program in this seed dumpling workshop; a great hands-on activity to sow native plants that support our local pollinator and insect populations. All seeds are local-ecotype and grown here on the farm. Pre-registration is required; $5 /person.
Our seed dumplings are inspired by the Japanese tradition, Tsuchi Dango, meaning “Earth Dumplings,” a technique of gardening that combines seed with soil to protect against wildlife and support germination.
